Will a Stone of Flock cancel the summons in a Summoning-Type Hidden Room?

I actually tried this the other day - NOPE!

- Too bad, right? Did you throw it to one of the traps or to the room's door?
Those rooms are really fun with a Scroll of Psionic Blast or Wand of Corrosion, etc.
