What are your thoughts on Bandit EVO starts in ranked instead of the BR?
As of the launch of Season 5, BR starts in ranked have been replaced with Bandit EVO starts. For those who do not know, the EVO variant has a scope with slightly less zoom than the BR.
Have you tried it? What are your thoughts versus the BR starts?
I'm digging it, but only played 7 games.
I miss the BR but I'm sure I'll adjust. Struggle with the last shot.
Chugged through my placement matches last night. I loved the original bandit, so I was really looking forward to trying the EVO.
I think the single shot makes a difference in landing the final kill head shot, you no longer have a three round burst where it is more forgiving if one shot of the burst misses, I play keyboard and mouse, and had pretty good accuracy, but ended up shooting a lot of shoulders instead of heads when it came to landing the perfect kill.
Overall, I had no issues with it, just need to get some practice, but I played with a friend who hated the WBO by the end of our placements and was going for the sidekick any time they could find one.
