"Nato willing to help with pipeline investigation:" Finnish President issues statement about damaged gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia that "does not appear to be an accident"

The country most probably the author of such an attempt has to:

1. Be a direct beneficiary of another country's gas reserves dwindling

2. Believe in its own impunity/immunity

3. Be gasping for money.

4. Be in the region.

5. Be ruled by a megalomaniac and a bunch of assholes

Yes, it's Russia.

Where'd you get that Russia did it? There was an article going around some time ago that Ukraine special ops (or some sort of tactical strike team, not good with these military terms) did it. That does make sense, why would Russia destroy their own pipeline? They were still hoping Germany would change its mind under economic pressure. With it destroyed no chance of selling to Germans any time soon since it's now phisically impossible.
