What's your opinion on My Home Hero?

I have been following it up until now and I still have mixed feelings about it.

I like the premise and all but I think it lacks a bit in execution. It kind of bugs me that every time something inconvenient is about to happen to our MC, we see him getting away with it thanks to something happening all of a sudden.

I enjoyed the first few episodes, but lost interest in it before the halfway mark. Now I’ve just been waiting for the cour to finish and see what people say when it’s all finished.
The anime did a fairly poor job I feel. Didn't capture me anywhere near as well as the manga did. Can recommend checking that out though if the anime piqued your interest in any way.
