What is the bottom bar? Custom CSS or something else? I use Cinnamon as well and am bored of the default taskbar at the bottom
It is custom CSS. You got go to your cinnamon.css and edit it.

Best thing about Linux is so much choice. I'm on plasma now but I have tried all desktop environments and most window managers at some point. Had so much fun with them.
