So now they can milk mega fans trying to watch all the minor changes.
To be fair the movie is good enough to warrant a rewatch anyway.
I'd guess it's an antipiracy effort. Put some people on checking for little things then compare them to which theaters have which version and you know where your movies are getting recorded.
