Rough first prototype

Working on this front light mod so that I can play in the dark.

It attaches with magnets just like the case.

Here it is off the playdate.
After sitting here in the slowly darkening room trying to play, I definitely am jealous. Nice idea!
Great idea! Did you 3d Print the backplate yourself?
- Its a piece of steel.
  
  Ive since transitioned to just clipping the light on the playdate case sideways. That seems to work well and no backplate required.
  
  Now im on the constant hunt for the smallest booklight possible with a flat clip.
