Replaying Cyberpunk as a netrunner and... wow
My first playthrough I kinda run and gunned on story mode, which worked out usually, but it got boring after a while.
When Phantom Liberty was officially scheduled for September, I decided to replay Cyberpunk in a different playstyle on normal difficulty. As a netrunner, it's so satisfying to completely wipe out a facility within seconds using just quickhacks. Makes me chuckle every time.
I found that the current system is OP enough to make fun hybrid builds, where you can excel in both hacking and DPS. Actually, just two weeks ago, Red Dragon, who have been making fairly good and deep Cyberpunk build YouTube videos, posted this netrunner-crit build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8MALM-Jp2E
Netrunner can just be absurd with being able to kill most people remotely via the camera network. It can also get super boring after a while. I'm currently on a playthrough as a street samurai. Slowing time and just dicing up fools is pretty fun.
Stomp the game as a netrunner was so cool and satisfying 🤤🤤
