FOSS alternative to Pocket?
Been searching for a good alternative to Pocket since they botched my account transfer after forcing me tu update. Came across shiori and omnivore, any advice? Any better app than those?

Does Omnivore support page turning?
I use Pocket on an e-ink tablet, so page-turning is preferable to scrolling. But Pocket got rid of page-turning in its recent update, so I'm on the hunt for a replacement.
Wallabag has a similar function (tap-to-scroll) but I don't like their fonts.
Thanks for this! I use Wallabag and love it but doesn't hurt to look at other products. Would be nice if they had an non-Google deploy of their Android app.
Wallabag is great. If you don't want to host, their fee is super low. Like $11/yr or something. That said, I think Omnivore is a better app. But I use Miniflux as my RSS feed reader and it offers super tight integration with Wallabag (and others). Literally click save in Miniflux and it sends it to Wallabag for you. So for now, I'm staying. I did put in a feature request with Miniflux for the same integration level with Omnivore, so maybe in the future?
Do you know if wallabag or Omnivore has a send to Kindle feature, similar to Push to Kindle?
Wallabag does not, at least not officially. There are some scripts folks have written over on Reddit and a few other sites that do it, but I've not tried any of them.

Try zotero
Zotero is actually a paper and reference manager. Pocket is more like a bookmark manager. Though it's really good for those citation management usages 👌
