Homelessness is one if the most visible impacts of a housing shortage, but we often forget about all the other people who are underhoused. Young adults forced to move back in with their parents or crammed in with too many roommates. Abuse victims forced to stay with their abusers or hope they can find a space in a shelter. The housing shortage is actively hurting a lot of people, and it needs to be fixed.
