I finally got the kick I need to go 100% in on Lemmy.
I don't know why I am surprised. At one point they said shadow banning was only ever supposed to be used against bots, but reddit doesn't care anymore.
For the most part that's the whole of society, people in general seem to have become quite shallow in the last 15 years it's wild to think people have so much to say but nothing to talk about. It makes holding conversations extraordinarily difficult for me to have because i get exhausted being the sole contributor of any substance.
I'm banned from like a hundred different subs. Most I've never even been to.
At some point their auto ban bot decided that because I sub to a bunch of subs with 'porn' in the title (wordporn, skyporn, food porn etc etc) that not only am I NSFW but that I also deserve to be banned.
I was drifting away from Reddit a few months before the first mass exodus i found a few sites and communities i like. I do say the structure of the fediverse (or lack thereof) is quite refreshing.
