Bay Area's annual "Transit Month" is officially underway

  • I do love the San Jose light rail and I basically always take BART to get into SF. I know we have a ways to go in public transit, but I'm glad to at least have the options we currently do.

  • I often see complaints about BART but at least they have the BART app to report crimes to police. My experience on BART has been better than muni.

    I've seen a guy jerking off in a BART station and cops responded fast to the BART app report. My friend was on muni and a guy was jerking off and there was no help.

    Muni drivers don't address drug use or smoking on buses or light rail but BART at least makes an announcement and threatens to call the cops.

    I've seen more dogs sitting on seats on muni than BART.
