How can I create a desktop shortcut for the new DuckDuckGo browser?
I just installed the new beta DuckDuckGo browser on my Windows machine. I want to create a desktop shortcut icon for it, but I can't find where the executable is stored. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or give me another way to accomplish this?
If you press the keys: "Win+R" and input "explorer shell:AppsFolder" (no quotes).
It should open a folder with all the installed apps (i think those that are in the start menu), you can find the duckduckgo browser in there, right click and create shortcut.

I should have remembered about "drag from Start". My memory is not what it was. :-}
The explorer: shell:AppsFolder is not one I knew about, but it will certainly be useful.

Is it in the start menu? If so, you should be able to drag it or right-click on that.
Click Start and go to All Apps. Find the program you want to create a desktop shortcut to and right-click on it. Click Send to and you'll see various destinations, one being Desktop (create Shortcut). Clicking on this will then make a shortcut on the Desktop.
