I get "did not receive auth response" when I try to sign in with lemmy.ml

I've tried https://lemmy.ml and just lemmy.ml as the server but I can't sign in. It has been this way ever since I downloaded the app last week.

Am I doing something wrong?

  • Did this ever resolve itself?

    • No. I removed and reinstalled the app, tried on Wifi and cellular, tried different server settings, none would work.

      • Oh, let me look into something. 0.18 came out today, this might have something to do with it. Give me some time.

  • I had this issue too. Had to use my email address rather than the username.

    Don’t include “http://“
