Worth highlighting for sure, and it's a weird situation to even be in since they're not using google APIs, but AFAIK there haven't been any new developments on this for the last couple weeks at least. Lead dev just posted that they're not going to be intimidated by Google since they didn't agree to their TOS, whether that's going to dissuade Google at all is anyone's guess.
