1 oz tequila reposada
.5 oz mezcal
.5oz passionfruit liqueur (Chinola)
.5oz honey simple syrup
.75oz lemon juice
2 dropperful fire tincture (habanero, vodka, anatto)
1 oz tepache
If you don't have tepache, sub Jarritos Piña, or another pineapple soda not pineapple juice, the slight carbonation is enhanced by the slight spicy of the tincture.
I chopped about 5 garden grown habaneros and soaked in 1 cup vodka for a couple of weeks, then added 1 tsp smashed achiote paste for a couple of days. Strained and bottled in dropper bottles. It really is better than it sounds, good in anything I want spicy so far.
