Current payroll for the Blazers next season is around $113 million. Gives us at most around 50 million to re-sign our free agents (Grant, Thybulle, Reddish, Eubanks). Keep in mind the salaries for the rookies that we draft this Thursday is not yet counted in the 50 million. Also, Grant is expected to sign a contract at $30 million a year.
Not horrible but not great. We can still resign a few of those guys and trade a player or two for a star. Would especially be nice if Jody is willing to pay a bit extra this season to see what we can do actually building around Dame.
