First time I drained all my ammo on it and was confused, got killed
Second time I experimented with the sword, but was messing up the boosters and spending too much time on the ground in general.
Third time I felt better about the timing. Dodge, boost in, sword attack, touch down briefly to get the boost back while the sword is on cooldown, repeat. Boss melted in like 30 seconds lol.
I’m a big sekiro fan so I’m thinking, similar to that game, the most rewarding way to play will be to figure out how to down enemies as quickly and aggressively as possible. Hesitation is defeat
I only beat it after realising that it also used rockets when the pods under it turn red. Missiles and guns I can maneuver around, rockets you need to fly and avoid or it'll stagger you and 0 your life.
The jankiness of this boss is bull. It was in front of me, i was behind a wall and it was shooting me from behind. Then i was on top of it hitting it with melee and it flew out of the arena knocking me off. It has also taken me from 75% to dead more then once. From Software swore this was not going to be Dark Souls in armor. I say LIARS!
I recall previous chapters being difficult, but not unfun levels of difficult. The intro goes from 0-11 without warning, I took almost no damage the entire first part of the mission, then a boss that does 75% hits. At least give us difficulty settings. I am in my 40s and have limited play time. I spent my entire morning trying to beat the first boss. I know get good, whatever. I really did not enjoy playing.
This is the first game I am actively seeking a refund
The Helicopter? 5 Tries sound about right.
Things started to click and I was feeling fine going further into chapter 1. Even got an S and A rank replaying missions… uuuuutil I got stuck on Balteus for about 4 hours.
