  Mean Girls quote and because Americans don't want to pay American manufacturing prices. We're cheap asses and politicians keep trying to play off of false hope, but really, it wasn't manufacturing that gave us the American dream, it was unions.
So much for the green revolution everyone was talking about
- Manufacturing does not mean that it isn't green. Manufacturing can very well be green. In fact, it should be.
  
  The increase, which amounts to about 2% of current manufacturing employment levels, is partly due to the incentives and investments for the semiconductor and green technology sectors included in the Biden administration's signature bills, the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS and Science Act.
