I used to do a mix of ordinary pushups and calisthenics, and the hardest parts were to do really slow pushups. Now ive been getting a bit lazy again and not working out as i should.
Whats a good starting program to get strong again?
That's always a headache for people who get into calisthenics without knowing much about how calisthenics training is different from the normal gym training. Normally people think they can do many push ups but in the calisthenics training language you have to do a push up correctly and yes slowly.
So when you are starting out with push ups you need to throw your ego out the window and start as if you don't know training in the past at all.
So as your starting out and even when your an expert in calisthenics you need to focus on the progressive method of calisthenic training. Like take example the push ups which will be the most important workout of calisthenic training should be mastered with each variation possible as you progress through your calisthenics journey become more and more flexible and aesthetically fit.
I'll make a post about it right now. I apologise I was going to do it earlier but I got stuck in some thing 4 a few days so I completely forgot that I hadn't made a post and couldnt even see your post here.
