How about dropping certification requirements in IT?
Certifications are a fucking money grabbing scam.

How does a certificate prove that I know how to solve a problem and that I'm resourceful thanks to my software engineering degree and experience?
I've been coding software in Java and C# and Python for years. Why do I need a good damn certificate to prove it? Meanwhile some dude who just happens to be good at studying and passes the exam gets the job but can't solve the problems.
