Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Libraries.
I'm being gifted a "Little Free Library" for my birthday and I'm super excited to get started.
(cranky rant) Why doesn't anyone use "given" anymore? It's a perfectly good word.
I do love seeing the little free libraries when I'm walking around a neighborhood. I'm not sure that they're very practical, but I'm still glad to see them with their little selection of books for anyone to enjoy.
Maybe you should contact them asking for internal dimensions.
As for what books to give away for free? Well it depends. there are some books I don't want in my library, so if someone likes them, I don't mind giving them away for free. But when specially creating a little library, I would probably want to add some of my favourite books. Like The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy. Or some standalone fantasy novels.
Have you thought of any books, you want to start with?
