Is anyone also getting warnings about phone sending large amounts of SMS?

Every night I get a popup that asking me to allow phone to send SMS messages. It comes seemingly out of the blue and it kind of scares me

Try finding out which app is trying to send the SMS and uninstall it.
It is probably an app. Can you show a screenshot?
I don't get that kind of popup. Are you aware of the SMS limit setting however? Settings > Privacy > Trust > SMS message limit
