Feature request - download images and videos into the files app with the share button
Hello, the only feature I miss coming from Memmy is being able to download the images and videos like Apollo did (RIP). Don’t forget to donate folks !

for photos, download already exists, and there’s no need to go to the share tray. If you long press the photo when viewing in full screen, there is an option to download there.
The share tray is for the entire Lemmy post, not, the photo, so “download” would only download the link.
In the image viewer, sharing shares the actual image, so saving to files within that share sheet saves the image.
