Trying to ignore the most successful modern fantasy series, and the most successful by far by a female author, is a very political choice for a museum to make.
They can like it or not but Harry Potter absolutely made history.
I wonder if they would remove HP Lovecraft’s books because he was a racist which absolutely shows in his novels.
Im not sure. No objection to your JK thing, but you don't need to represent lgbt in everything. The books were written at a time where there wasn't a big movement and active representation, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I don't recall the fat shaming, but disagree with the bigotry and the racial stereotypes I see are "rich white man is a prick".
