I'm only one shopper, but I'll avoid Target for the foreseeable future because of this decision.
I think you misread the article. The state is punishing Target for carrying pride merchandise without warning shareholders that it would make the magas mad. This will only push other publicly traded companies to stop carrying pride items because they could face the same law suits.
(Lawsuit is about their pride merch causing boycotts, not the removal of DEI) I agree, currently not shopping there and will continue to du so cause they pulled DEI. Can't capitulate to fascists
