  I also thought he should’ve lost the halo as he uses God to damn the situation, but it’s just a comic so overthinking it isn’t warranted.

It's a clapper. Just clap twice and it turns off.
Took me a minute to understand why he was mad. The halo is lighting up the room as he tries to sleep.
- It took me a minute to realize that he didn't grow a huge mustache in the span of one panel and then shave before bed.
