This author assumes that anyone gives a crap about "the truth" or what bills do or don't pass.
Do nothing/break shit and lie about it delivered the Republicans a trifecta. Why would it anyone expect that to stop working?
As an outsider, the article and top comments reek of desperation.
It's like they are desperate to find some sort of counter balancing logic or faux-dynamism that would serve as a way out without rocking the boat too much or asking uncomfortable questions.
Democrats absolutely should not pass a bill. It's their only point of leverage.
