It seems it's increasingly rare to have a major game release that doesn't come filled with lots of issues. The latest is Sid Meier's Civilization VII from Firaxis Games.

All civs get bad reviews at the beginning, there are many years between one and the next and people adapt to certain mechanics. I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it's not bad.
