Red should probably be classified as fae. Anything is possible and physical laws do not matter, as long as the power of friendship is strong. That's some fate-bending fairy magic right here.
Not for me. As far as genre parodies go it feels like this is one of those that really like the source genre and and only poke very light fun at it - basically a fun show for everyone that likes the sentai genre in the first place. As someone who finds this genre obnoxious I would have liked a type of parody that brutally tears the source apart. Or at least something in the middle between those two.
The action scenes are not very good which is kinda disappointing. Out of all the seasonal anime that I'm already familiar with, this one's got the weakest adaptation.
Idk if it was intentional (probably not) but considering how bad action scenes were in original rangers I think it's a great adaptation. It really reminds me of my childhood.
Well, he doesn’t have as much sauce as Bravern yet, but I hope he gets there (it’s pretty hard to beat a mecha that’s basically a force of nature). This anime is really good; it’s exactly what I expected it to be. The comedy is great too, but the question remains: who would win—Gelato 5, Dragon Keepers, or Kizuna 5?
This was fun, but I feel like a lot of the humor didn't land for me because I've never really watched sentai shows, so I think like people who grew up on those shows would have a pretty good time with this. I give the premiere a 3/5.
