I want to turn this stick into a wand, any advice?

All's I know is that I want to preserve the bug-eaten grooves as much as possible

Kingcobrajfs is a notable wand maker on YouTube. If you Google kingcobrajfs makes a wand, you should be able to find some of his videos.
