Is this the new home of r/minimalism?
Title.
There is a minimalism community on lemmy.ml but it's not active and the mod has been MIA for a long time.
The mod here seems to be active user and just wondering if I could start posting the same type of content that we had on r/minimalism.
Minimalism was in my top 10 favourite subreddits!
Only one way to start: get postin’
6 0 ReplyJust worried about posting content that this community was not intended for by the owner/mod.
I was looking for minimalism as a "lifestyle" community instead of art or design style.
6 0 ReplyIt is until the mod says otherwise
4 0 Replycurrently it has no real purpose other than propagating the minimalist lifestyle and exchanging some views.

Any contact from the mod? This c/ is heading in two different directions.
5 0 ReplyI don't mind the aesthetic posts when the sub is new and small, but eventually I would like to read more about people living with less junk.
8 0 ReplyHey yeah I'm still here. Ill try to build this community together with you all.
7 1 ReplyYou mean the sudden aesthetics posts? I was surprised about that aswell. No message from the mod. Guess we should ping him: [email protected] (is this how it works on lemmy?)
6 0 ReplyYes, it seems that we are already seeing the usual split between the minimalist aesthetic and the minimalist lifestyle.
Maybe it would be worth to decide which content we want to see here and open another community for the other?
