Idk much about emacs but some people love it and probably will find it useful. Also the app seems to require a self-hosted backend so don't check it out if you're poor.

What's poor got to do with it?
Im running a 10+ year old desktop as my server, and just acquired a 6 year old SFF to replace it.
Hell, my five dollar Raspberry Pi can host this stuff.
You don't know what real poverty is. But that's not the topic anyways.
