After reading this and trying to get snac2 working, I tried GoToSocial. worked out well so thought I would come back here.

Does GtS not support relays? That’s what everyone uses to seed their new instances. I’m on a single user instance and have thousand of posts from hundreds of instances coming in daily.
- Can you configure your GtS instance to not federate at all, say if you wanted to run a private instance for friends?
  
  Yep from what I understand.
- Dunno. But I've had no issues so far with gts.
