I’m so tired of web engine based apps
Decades of speed increases in hardware, yet software is slower than ever because we're wasting it on JavaScript.
So does discord
Why? At least I don't have to download and install gigabytes of files for something I might only use once?
IIRC Microsoft teams is a 1 GB install! The classic edition of it was like 200 or 400 MB.
Webtech based doesn't mean small. Evidently.
