This is frustrating to be sure, but a company taking a "Trust, but verify" attitude to things like your ID is less dystopian and more basic security.
...especially when this is literally what Lifelock is for and what you signed up for. They're making sure no one is stealing your prescriptions with a fake ID.

Forged and stolen prescriptions are a thing, they need to perform KYC to avoid selling drugs to fraudsters.
It's always been a problem, and your identity used to be validated using government IDs, but it can also be digital nowadays. They've always done checks, they have to by law.
