I came to the conclusion that it does not. While this is a meta joke around the fact that this is just a TV show, a true "fourth wall break" involves acknowledging the audience. If anything, this is acknowledging the camera, which is not the same thing.
He didn't so much break the fourth wall as jam his nose up against it.
