You gain the power to travel through time, to repair broken timelines and save people from being erased from time. However...

(Before I get asked, yes, this prompt is based on an existing character, Kamen Rider Zeronos)

A version of you from the future appears before you, and offers you the following:

A suit of armor that can withstand the force of light anti-tank weaponry, and can punch with over twenty tons of strength.

A time travelling train that is designed with weapons for fighting giant monsters.

A lifelong friend in the form of a strange birdman monster.

A set of cards that allow you to access your powers.

The future you shows you the remnants of ruined timelines and warns that your own future could become like this if you don't accept. They tell you that if you accept this power, you will be a hero who protects timelines from being erased. That you will get the power to fight monsters made from the last survivors of doomed timelines and repair any damage they cause in the past.

However, your power comes at a price. Every time you use one of these cards, people will forget that you exist. It starts with distant acquaintances, then friends, then loved ones. The only ones who will remember you all the time are your birdman companion and people who are temporal singularity points, which are very rare.

You'll become a legendary hero of time, but by the time you finish your mission, you'll be an unsung hero, doomed to be forgotten.

Do you accept the responsibility?
