North Carolina's vote-counting rules, timeline explained

Unlike some other swing states, it won’t take days to know which presidential candidate won in the Tar Heel state.

I finally voted yesterday. I got in line at 3:25pm and it took just over an hour on day 4 of early voting.

Anyway, I got curious about how the various voting methods got counted in North Carolina so I looked it up and thought I’d share!
