Analysis of a mixed night for the United forward in the Europa League. Plenty of dangerous attacking endeavour, but some defensive lapses

TL;DR: he was really bad at helping out in defense and deservedly got subbed off at HT, though this is kinda obvious if you look at the highlights, he loses his man for both the Porto goals.
It's just not something Rashford is able to do, it's just not a part of his game as much as they try to coach it into him, assuming they have tried.
He's always played best with a reliable left back covering for him and giving him the confidence to do his thing. i.e. when he'd play with Luke Shaw.
