Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on Oct. 2 that exempts defendants from criminal liability if they join the Russian army, according to Russia's legal information portal.

I think they take anyone at this point.
Him getting his ass full of shrapnel from a drone dropped grenade and commit suicide with his own rifle would be too good poetic justice to ever come to pass.
