Install sonarr and radar on ubuntu media server

Hi everyone!

I would like to setup the two above mentioned softwares on my server, but not sure where to start.

Is there a step-by-step guide? I am not familiar with Dockers and I do the old school sudi apt method.

If you’re willing to give Docker a shot (I’d never used it before either), this is what I used to get started. I’ve tweaked some stuff since then, but I feel like this is a good start for beginners.

- Docker is the way. There's also trash guides which help tweak the settings. SHB changed my life
  
  Yeah I got a lot of help from them too after my initial set up.
I'll also recommend Docker and in particular the "linuxserver" containers. They release containers for all the *arr apps, jellyfin, etc. and they're all configured similarly, which makes things easier.
docker sounds scary but its dead easy, and makes keeping things updated a synch !
