Not gonna buy it until it's on sale, and not using their stupid launcher.
I have enough fucking launchers.
I was also going to buy in a couple years on sale and on steam but after seeing reviews and gameplay.... I think I'll save my time playing it and watch a cutscene movie on YouTube.
Lol, fucking AC Mirage, absolutely brutal.
In Germany, most stores sold out Space Marines 2 and AstroBot on day 1, while they had endless piles of SW Outlaws on the shelves, with only a few missing.
I know most sales are digital, but we can assume the spread of interest between these products are mostly the same in all formats.
This game is tanking hard, Ubi will be begging anyone to buy it for 20 by November.
Ubisoft games are just not worth it. I bought Avatar Frontiers of Pandora after hearing glowing reviews. After about 20-24 hours, the game just became boring. Just as I exited the first area into the second area, I have probably experienced everything that game had to offer. The locations look cool, but are devoid of anything fun. Missions are cut and paste far cry missions. Story was bland and predictable.
As an example Outcast 2 was similar in structure to Avatar and Far Cry games. But for whatever reason, I had more fun with it to the point that I actually took time to get all the achievements, which is rare AF for me.
Yeah, Avatar was the same to me. Probably one of the most beautiful environments in an open world game, but every character was a walking cliché and the dialogue cringy and boring. Which is at least on brand for Avatar I guess.
I'm having a similar fatigue yeah. It really is amazing visually, the attention to details is fucking unreal and the environments are just so diverse... But it's definitely the same old same old. Main thing that's improved is the maneuvrability, where you can some really amazing feats of climbing, to the point I thought I was doing a really hard mission when I was in fact just going the wrong way (up a cliff). That's another thing I've been having difficulty with : I do like that they listened and did the whole not showing you where the objective is, but some of their hints are fucking atrocious and I've spent way too much time searching the area never to find it. Unfortunate. Anyway, at some point I took a break and haven't picked it up since. Just kinda forgot about it. Same with Origins. I just arrived in Atlantis, but haven't felt any irrépressible urge to get back to it, despite my thorough enjoyment of the game.
Assassin's Creed mirage was the point I said enough. I've played all the AC games and tried mirage and I'm sick of the same issues and glitches that have been around from the start. Not only that but I really didn't like the protagonist. I think I played it for about an hour and decided I was done with this repetitive series
I went back the mirage having never really enjoyed the ACs after Ezio and I loved it.
But yes the same glitches and shit is infuriating.
