Those of you that had decade-old+ Reddit accounts that overwrote them, how long did it took?
I mean, those of you who used to have 10+ years old accounts that then went and overwrote them using something like Shreddit or Power Delete, how long did it took for it to go through all that?
As it looks now, Reddit hit another rock bottom and started to restore deleted posts. So I do t know if it is even worth doing that when they still control your data. If you live in a country that must comply with GDPR, file a complain and hopefully it will get enough traction to shut down Reddit for good
Following up to say: yo, there is some weeeird stuff happening.
2nd round took under 2 minutes, and it ... Went too fast. Also, not everything got edited in the first pass.
My theory is, comments in private subs were locked and had pending changes queued. They didn't actually get deleted and are becoming visible again as the subs open back up. Its possible as subs open up that the pending actions will be applied later, if they were not flushed.
