AFib patients using wearable devices are more likely to engage in high rates of symptom monitoring and experience anxiety than non-users, a study shows.
On the other hand, before I got my smart-watch, I wouldn't go more than a few months without believing I was having a heart-attack. Turns out my heart-rate does get elevated, but not quite to that range, and its not irregular or intermittent at those times. I also have low-normal resting and active pulse rates.
Long story short, I'm more active than I was, push myself harder, and am far healthier for it today. Anxiety? That's just a constant companion/personality trait of mine. Good luck making it "worse".
