I butter my bread with the back of a spoon instead of a knife. In fact my username would be "butterspoon" except someone had already taken it on twitch back in the day!
It's genuinely more efficient than using a knife. Don't knock it til you've tried it.

We use spreadable butter. This isn't the 1980s.
