I made a fully tagged collection of Gizz's KEXP sessions with custom artwork for your listening pleasure :)
Sup weirdos, like many of you I love Gizz's KEXP sessions and wanted a local collection I could stream from my plex server. I downloaded some broadcast rips from archive.org of each set but they were completely untagged and had filenames like "KGATLW6718" "01.flac" etc. so I spent the morning tagging them up and making custom artwork!
In this collection there are: KEXP 2015, 2017, 2017 II, 2018, 2019, and 2022 which I believe is all of them. Each set also includes the post-performance interview :)
I chose .M4A ALAC over FLAC because it works great with the MacOS music app (I use it for my main library) whilst still being compatible with pretty much every music player in existence.
.FLAC rips taken from archive.org. Encoded to .m4a ALAC via XLD for iTunes/music.app compatibility.
Videos of each performance can be watched for free on YouTube, Invidious links are included (inv.vern.cc) if you prefer those.
The custom artwork was made using either photographs, or screencaps from the respective KEXP session.
Collection compiled and metadata added by A.L.
You're welcome :) Also just a tip, when I updated my Plex library to add the albums it auto-matched a few of them and changed the artwork to generic pictures (2018 and 2019 did this I believe). Just click the three dots below the album and hit 'unmatch' if this bothers you!
Oh man! I had ripped them to mp3 but they sit on my phone as single 45 minute files. I tend to listen all the way through but being able to seek to specific songs would be great.
