This why windows 11 needing an online account to sign up is a bad idea
Turns out this is a CrowdStrike issue though, so unrelated in this case.
It's a third party piece of software causing the issues though.
Crowdstrike has a lot of internal control of your machine in order to do things like hook into the processes you are running to observe any malicious activity. It makes sense that a bug could bring the whole system down.
Yeah it's driver level so very small bugs can bring everything down
Yep, the only real functions of that is copy protection, and Microsoft gathering data.
Or maybe just generally a bad idea...
