With all the criticism, Southgate probably is the best manager for England in ages. He revamped the culture of the squad, and just so happens have a group of fine young individuals that became contenders. But the question is who will they bring in and rely on to build upon and not tear down this foundation? People have been saying Potter or Howe but I just don't see how they would achieve a higher level. Kloppo?

I wasn't able to catch a lot of the tournament, but feom what I've heard, it seemed he wasn't able to build the team to get the best put of them as a team.
You can't argue against what he's achieved though. Curious to see where he will end up next though.
This seems like the biggest issue. I mean, just look at ESR, Nketiah or Nelson. They're the closest any have gotten and even ESR couldn't get into the team with the talent he has.
