Detroit-born musical child prodigy Frank Isaac Robinson was known professionally as "Sugar Chile" Robinsonβ€”you can roll your eyes; it was a "different time". Robinson played with such luminaries as Lionel Hampton, Count Basie and Billie Holiday until in 1952 he said "stop."
